Part Number: DLP470TP There is optical reference design for DLP3010 but not DLP4710 / DLP470TP.
Is there any design or part numbers we can use to get the correct RTIR prism in our optical design?
Hi Mike sh,
we use this technique to increase the bandwidth of accepting the pixel data. I can't say this is exclusive to DLP, but for DLPC6421/DLP470TP chip set yes this mode exist.
Hope this explains.

Sanjeev
Part Number: DLP470NE Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP660TE , DLP470TE I have been using BenQ’s new W1700, which uses what I presume to be the DLP470TP DMD.
I know this uses four flashes, as it were, of 1920 x 1080 to deliver the required pixel…
Part Number: DLP470TP I know this is possible via specifically designed projection lens but my situation is a bit different.
What I need is a chance to have the projection beam same size as the DMD by having the illumination beam collimated and coming…
Thank you very much, I will pass on this info, hopefully it makes it clear. I have passed on your previous info already to two independent optical engineers I work with, one experienced in LCoS AR optics and another in camera imaging optics and both had…
Part Number: DLP470TP Does the DMD generate heat itself and needs heatsink for that or is the heatsink only necessary when the illumination beam is bright enough and heats up the DMD?
Hi Matt
Glad to See You Again
Discuss the control mode of XPR and number of channels
A. DAC mode or PWM mode
B. 2-Way or 4-Way
Who is using DAC mode
A. DLPC4422EVM + DLP660TEEVM is using DAC mode and 2-Way
B. DLPC4422EVM + DLP470TEEVM is using DAC mode…
Hello Nicolas,
Thank you for sharing your application. Do you have a target brightness and resolution?
Meanwhile please review following chip-sets from TI, they may meet your requirements:

Part Number: DLP471TP Here you state that the DLP470TP has support for 24p using a special 72hz mode... e2e.ti.com/.../2387256
And here, you state that there are no downgrades... e2e.ti.com/.../3543186 I am getting information from Bomaker/Hisense that the…
Part Number: DLPC6421 I met a problem in my project dual DLPC6421 + FPGA + DLP470TP.
The image working fine with 4K/60Hz video input source.
When I enable the keystone function and setup the angle, the image become abnormal with many extra horizonal lines…
