Hi Ying, The DLPDLCR3010EVM-G2 is intended to be used with DLPLCRD-GUI, not the DLPDLC-GUI. Please try the other GUI and let us know if you're still facing this problem. Regards Azad

Can you confirm that you're using the DLPLCRD-GUI v7.0? If so, please try the DLPDLC-GUI and see if you're getting the same error.

MSP430 is required to use Standard mode of DLPLCRD-GUI. Advanced mode does not require this and will work as long as either Cypress or Devasys USB-I2C bridge is used.

You should be able to use the GUI to modify the firmware that is found at www.ti.com/.../dlplcrd-gui . There should be options to modify the startup current and change the duty cycle of one of the looks. Please try it out and let me know…

It appears you are using our Light Control GUI which is for a different product. You will want to use the Lightcrafter EVM GUI which can be installed at www.ti.com/.../dlplcrd-gui . That should enable you to properly flash the new firmware…
