Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83867E Hi
I'm referring SLUA736.
On the Figure 5 in page 8, "Clamp" is inserted in data line and highlighted.
We are considering DP83867E (GigE) as phy device with IEEE802.3at (PoE+).
What kind of Clamp device…
Hello Dalip,
Sorry for the confusion with the section numbering. I was referring to the DP83867E datasheet.
Thanks for confirming. I am still a bit confused on how you are configuring the device. How are you configuring the PHY through Zynq if this…
Part Number: DP83867ERGZ-S-EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83867E Team,
Here is my setup:
We connect the RST, INT, MDC, MDIO and SGMII (CO, SO & SI) to Xilinx EVM to mimic the interfaces and we added pullup resistor to MDIO 2.2 Ohm to the…
Hi Sandeep,
The HFJ11-1G41E-L12RL meets our spec. This FAQ helps interpret the specs https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1161575/faq-dp83867e-how-do-i-choose-magnetics-for-my-industrial-phy?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch…
Part Number: DP83867CR Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83867ERGZ-R-EVM , DP83867E Hello,
At page 46 of the DP83867CR's datasheet, it is clearly said that a strap circuit is required on the RX_DV/RX_CTRL pin. It is trivial that without it the configuration…
Hi Alessandro,
Melissa Chang said: Is there enough current to support them?
Could you ask how much current/power is being supplied to each line on each PHY? I want to make sure all three devices have enough power to supply them.
We have our power…
Hello Mickey,
Are they looking for 1000Base-FX standard? Unfortunately we do not have a device in our portfolio which can operate in 1000Base-FX mode. However, we have a way to convert copper to fiber for 1Gbps. DP83867E/IS/CS can be used for this…
Michael,
I recommend first going through this FAQ from our Applications team:
https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1161575/faq-dp83867e-how-do-i-choose-magnetics-for-my-industrial-phy
If required, please let me…
Hi Munir,
The performance of the DP83867E is shown in the datasheet and in the performance of the EVM.
We test for ESD induced latchup. Latchup does not occur up to 8kV in IEC61000-4-2 ESD testing.
Best Regards,
