Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV591 , DRV595 On the datasheet for the DRV591 there are different part numbers listed can you tell what the difference is between DRV591VFP and DRV591VFPG4
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV591 Hello, To whom it may concern. Our customer is considering to use DRV591 that is for Laser driver. Does the DRV591 comply with IEC60825-1 and FDA [21CFR Part 1040.10]? Best regards,
Hi, Willie,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Your idea seems solid to me, but we have never made a system like this, so I can't tell you for sure.
Your transformer will need to be capable of the frequency of your sine wave. Just sizing…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV591 I am using the DRV591 as a TEC controller and have two different configurations. One with an external clock (250kHz input for 500kHz clock) and one with an internal clock (also set to 500kHz). For the rest the circuits…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV591 Can you clarify the operation of the Vcm of the differential input of the DRV591.
Using a single ended input with the Vin (-) connected to VDD/2.
With a 3.3V supply to VDD and datasheet states that the common…
HELLO DON
I GUESS THIS APPLIES TO THE DRV591 AS WELL ONE JUST HAVE A HIGHER VCC VOLTAGE BUT SOMEWHAT THE SAME OPERATION
NOW LETS SAY THAT THE PART WAS BEING USED IN A CLASS D INVERTER WITH A 26VAC RMS OUTPUT, BUT WITH NO OUTPUT TRANSFORMER SO WE JUST…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV591 Dear,
I am considering to change the PWM frequency of DRV591 by enabling the external clock operation (Pin 31 is set high).
However, the datasheet describes that it may be limited to apply arbitrary frequencies…
Hi Ashim,
please refer to this application note http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snaa092/snaa092.pdf
and the datasheet of the DRV591

I doesn't know much about audio amplifier. but it seem this kind of device…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV594 , DRV595 , DRV592 , DRV593 , DRV591 Is it possible to use class-d ampl to drive tec modules? In other words - are there any class-d amplifiers ICs features that prevent them from being used as drivers of TEC (DC…
Hi Sven,
Actually we do have some dedicated devices for coolers and heaters. Have you taken a look at DRV591, DRV592, DRV593, DRV594, and DRV595?
These might prove to be easier to implement in your system! Let me know what you think.
Best Regards…
