    RE: DRV8825 + NXP PCA9629

Hi Lucian, If the motor voltage is < 20V and the current is < 140mA per coil, please look at the DRV777. (3) DRV777 could possibly be used to control the 5 steppers. The OUTx of the PCA9629A would be connected to the inputs of the DRV777.

    RE: DRV103 minimum current rating

Hi Vibhuji, Yes the device can be used for lower currents. The current specified is typically the maximum current through the device. There are a few other devices that could be considered. The DRV8860, DRV777, DRV8803, and DRV8804 may also be suitable...

    RE: DRV8860 timings

Hi Philippe, Using the DRV8803 nENBL signal as described will work, but only if all outputs are to be enabled and disabled at the same time. If you want to enable the outputs separately, the INx pins will have to be used. Another option that may...

    RE: UC3517 part replacement

Hi Shreenidhi, How much current is required? The DRV8804 will work as shown as long as the VM voltage is above 8.2V. Other options are the DRV777, DRV8803, DRV8805. Have you considered configuring the stepper motor as a bipolar stepper? This...

Operating a set of Proportional Solenoid Valves

Hello! I have an application requiring me to individually control up to 5 miniature proportional valves with the output of a microcontroller (0-5V). Preferably this will be done by up to 5 PWM channels or even by serial communication if there exists...

    RE: Driving Stepper Motors

Hi Tony, I hope we are not throwing too many options at you. The DRV8860 minimum operating voltage is 8V, so it may not fit your needs. The DRV8833 and DRV8834 are good fits from a voltage range, but may be not other targets. Three devices are required...
