Jennifer, DRV8213 has built-in current regulation. This can be used to "soft start" the motor and limit the current on start-up. Regards, Ryan

Hey Joel, Agreed that it would be nice if our datasheet had this data. Unfortunately the best I can give you is another E2E post answered by someone more familiar with this part - https://e2e.ti.com/support/motor-drivers-group/motor-drivers/f/motor-drivers…

Hey Jennifer, The DRV8251 operating voltage only goes down to 4.5V, so you would have to test whether 5V + PWM (maybe 55% PWM) could achieve the slow speeds. The DRV8251A gives current sense feedback via IPROPI, you could use that to implement some anti…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8312 , INSTASPIN-BLDC Hi, I'm using the DRV8312 Piccolo kit. Investigations with the kit motor went fine but when I switched to a Faulhaber 3564 motor I noticed a behavior I can't explain. The speed seems to be limited…

Part Number: DRV8214 Tool/software: Hello, I saw someone asking on the TI forum whether an Arduino Library existed for the DRV8214 driver, and since I also needed one and couldn't find anything online, I created one myself. It is still a work in progress…
