Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F280049C Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8328AEVM , LVSERVOMTR Hello Team,
I am planning to use one LAUNCHXL-F280049C and two DRV8328AEVM boards to drive two hall-based BLDC motors. I also need an angle sensor that can detect…
Part Number: DRV8343-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8328AEVM Hello team!
My customer is using DRV8343-Q1 and start to develop it.
One question from customer side is :
Is it possible to add resistor between SPx and Shunt ?
Purpose…
Part Number: DRV8328 Hello
I'm designing a BLDC drive unit following the design material of the TI dev board DRV8328AEVM. I've already bought the gate driver DRV8328 and ideally I would have bought the same Mosfet devices of the TI dev board ( CSD18536KTTT…
Part Number: DRV8328 Hello,
I have a question regarding the nSLEEP pin of the DRV8328 gate driver. From my understanding this pin can be used to put the device in sleep mode and to reset fault conditions without entering sleep mode when a low pulse…
Part Number: DRV8306EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8328AEVM , LAUNCHXL-F280049C Hi.
Hope you are having a wonderful day.
I am designing a 3 Phase BLDC motor controller using the DRV8306EVM. When I was testing the board with the no jumpers…
Hi Andrew,
I found an evaluation module from TI (see https://www.ti.com/tool/DRV8328AEVM) that uses the same exact gate drive device (DRV8328) and very similar MOSFETs ( CSD18536KTTT ) with Qg = 108nC and Qgd = 14nC. The EVM has got 10Ohm external gate…
Hi Giorgio,
I can test today on the DRV8328AEVM to confirm if not populating the gate resistors is required to see the gate driver output.
Thanks, Aaron
Hi Amol, DRV3220-Q1 is a functional safety automotive gate driver, it requires NDA for datasheet and resource access. I would not recommend this part if functional safety or automotive rating is not required. My best recommendation is to order DRV8328…
