Hey Max,
It seems like the power stage is getting the correct voltages.
Have you checked INHA to ensure that the pwm signals are being sent? And also please check if the hall signals are being sent / commutating correctly as well.
I would need to look…
Hi Vikas,
Regenerative braking in 1xPWM mode is possible but will require all lowside MOSFETS to be HI-Z'd st once which is not possible if taking the Hall states directly back to the pins for sensing in the driver.
A workaround is to route the Hall…

Part Number: DRV8353F Is it possible to use the DRV835xF for a DCDC full bridge power converter instead of a three-phase inverter?
This entails using only four of the available six driving channels that the device can provide.
If this is the case, do…
Hi Yesaiahu,
Sorry for the delay again.
Yesaiahu Redler said: 3- Schottky diode between the VCP PIN and VM to the Ground to prevent negative transient on VCP signs. But nothing helps.
The circuit has the recommended 1uF cap from VCP to Vdrain, but instead…
Hey Aitor,
I have one small update/caution regarding the turn on/off times desired: For most applications we suggest keeping the turn on/off time between 100-200nS and never really driving the MOSFET gates with the maximum IDRIVE due to ringing/parasitics…
Part Number: DRV8353F Hello,
I am using the driver DRV8353FS. On the shunt measurement signal SP, SN, I can see spikes around 1V due to the recovery current of the Mosfet diode.
The driver breaks quite easily and I think it could be due to this spike on…
Part Number: DRV8353F I'm working on developing a control driver for BLDC motors within the voltage range of 48V to 58.4V, using the DRV8353FHRTAR driver. However, I have encountered a problem during my testing procedure that I have not been able to identify…
Part Number: DRV8353F Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8353 Hi experts,
I have a really big problem with a new brushless motor driver.
I mount an DRV8353FH driver and the mosfets are SIR584DP-TI-RE3. Power supply is set to +36VDC (from battery pack…
