  • RE: DRV8424E: Does DRV8424E have inputs deglitch filter (might cause output jitter issue)?

Could someone at Ti use the DRV8424EVM in PH/EN mode, then input a constant pwm, i.e. 10% pwm duty, then check the outputs to see if the output pwm signal has jittering? I don't want to buy the $100 EVM board just to verify this. Thanks, Brian

Yamaguchi-san, Sorry, DRV8424EVM GUI was developed by a contract company. We don't have source code to create a complex sequence. Regards, Wang Li

Annie, Do they test the speed with DRV8424EVM and DRV8434AEVM? Can you share the STEP pin signal and OUTPUT current waveform here? Regards, Wang Li

Hi SHH, The schematics are placed in a separate zip file for readability. Go to http://www.ti.com/tool/DRV8424EVM then scroll down to find the Design Files. The zip file contains the schematics and layouts of the DRV8424EVM.

Vladimir, Since I designed the DRV8424EVM hardware. Let me jump in. The footprint shows no enough thermal vias underneath the device thermal pad. Please use EVM footprint as reference. https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sloc356 For power loss, would you set T…
