Hi Gaël,
Ah, I see the issue. I missed it the first time and was subconsciously inverting the answer. You were close, but you can't just move L to the bottom, you need to invert the result. Equation 4 is wrong and actually calculating the time period…
Hey Ray,
Is it a Piezo speaker? Those are highly capacitive loads and I think it will depend on the capacitance of the speakers. If it's a Piezo I recommend a piezo driver: https://www.ti.com/product/DRV2700 or use this design tool to pick one: https…
Hi Yaita,
We have an excel table for calculating these valules: www.ti.com/.../DRV8662-2665-2667_DESIGN_TOOL . Let us know if you have additional questions.
Yes, it could be better. It depends on the piezo speaker capacitance. LM48560/LM48580 would work for ~1-2uF capacitance. Max output is only 30Vpp but the power is limited and when you drive capacitive loads like piezo speakers, the needed current increases…
Hi Kelly-san, My customer considers to use DRV2667 with 12Vpp piezo actuator and VBST is calculated 11V (==v_actuator/2+5) by the following calculation tool. www.ti.com/.../DRV8662-2665-2667_DESIGN_TOOL I believe we should set VBST to 15V and limiting…
Hi Griffin-san,
Thank you for your reply.
But I could not access following URL which you suggseted for design guide.

Could you attach this tool ?
