Part Number: DRV8770 Tool/software: I am using DRV8770 for Relay driving. Do we need to charge Bootstrap capacitor externally. If not, then how should I configure the IC to charge the Bootstrap capacitor to operate high side MOSFET.

The primary issue was with our design. By following TI advice, I have added gate-source resistors and zener diodes to each of the MOSFETs and with a lot of boundary condition testing, we have not had any unexpected operation. Thank you!

Part Number: DRV8770 Hi, Good day. In the datasheet it states, "The DRV8770 can drive an H-bridge with power supply up to 100 V." Does that mean the load or motor can see 100Vp-p or 200Vp-p? What is the maximum Low-side drain pin voltage? If I…

Hi Lokesh, We don't have too many options currently for gate drivers that support 48V. The DRV8770 is our highest rated voltage gate driver that also has two half-bridges (only 2 channels) and independent half bridge mode. You would more than likely still…
