Hi Danny,
Sounds good, looking forward to analyzing the waveforms. The waveforms will help to simulate your setup and hopefully find the issue.

David

I am investigating a few TI solutions for a new design :
DRV8703 / DRV8262 / DRV8770
I want to drive a 24V BDC boosted to 36V motor (10A rms current…
Part Number: DRV8770EVM We are trying to use the 8770 EVM with an external MCU to get a sine wave output. I removed the resistors 39-44 to isolate the MSP MCU. We recently bought a few different ones and it seems that one GD works perfectly it is the…
These are the signals i get when i instantly apply 3.3v to two inputs, this is the Mosfet i use -( MCAC38N10Y-TP). i have tried replacing the Mosfets but nothing changes. After driving in both directions i see that both high side Mosfets are not getting…
Brian,
Sorry you are correct. I didn't notice the 0V value is at the bottom of the green waveform. I agree there is an issue here.
Aiwen,
Do you have a DRV8770EVM? It would be good as a comparison, to use the DRV8770 and run similar tests.

Hi Jejomar,
Unfortunately we don't currently have a Pspice model for the DRV8770. If you are interested in evaluating the DRV8770, you can use the DRV8770EVM evaluation module.

Hi David,
This is a simple gate driver so having a resistor from gate to source will prevent the FET from turning ON when it should be OFF. Below is a screenshot of the DRV8770EVM schematic. There is a 100kohm resistor with an clamping diode for extra…
