Part Number: DRV8835EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529 , MATHLIB , DRV8835 Team, working with a customer on this EVM. He tried to load it up, but both of the sensorless and sensored firmwares don't compile properly. The specific errors he is…
Part Number: DRV8835EVM Hi,
My customer want to know if this device is NRND? can't find datasheet, related material anymore. if yes. Please recommend P2P or next gen device?
Thanks.

Hi There,
I'm using DRV8835 to drive bipolar stepper motor with full-step driving.
Apparently, there was spikes on rising and falling.
so my questions are
1. Does the negative voltage…

Hello,
In the datasheet the interface schemes PHASE/ENABLE , IN/IN are said to be common. But I doubt if they are common by that name as a google search does not return relevant information.
Can you provide more information and…
Amardeep,
Stepper motor team don't offer the sample code beyond the EVM. In DRV8835 case, DRV8835EVM doesn't have a micro-controller. So, we don't have the sample code for DRV8835.
This application note gives "step sequence of stepper motor…
Hi Rick-san,
Thank you for your information.
I have one more request, so could you please tell me how to measure Rds(on) using the DRV8835EVM like your bench ?
Best regards, Kato
Hi Colin,
At these current levels, there should be no problems.
One question on the VM = 10V. What is the tolerance and maximum VM? How close will it be to the 12V Absolute maximum?
There is a DRV8835EVM available for evaluation.
