Hello,
I want to use PID to make sure the speed of the motors can maintain at the same value, but I don't know how to get the speed of the DRV8838 and…
Part Number: DRV8838 Hello,
I am in dire need of help!
I am trying to use DRV8838 motor drive to generate the following biphasic current pulse. Arduino pwm can provide EN and PH input to the DRV8838.
Note that is a "CURRENT pulse" and not a voltage pulse…
Part Number: DRV8838 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8871 , DIP-ADAPTER-EVM Hi, I used the DRV8838 from Pololu to control a DC motor.

I'm looking for an H-Bridge driver to control a DC motor. The DRV8838 supports…
Hi Dani,
Thanks for the information. Can you confirm VM and VCC on the DRV8838 are not connected together? I see the net name on pins 1 and 8 listed as "S$587".
Part Number: DRV8838 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI , , DRV8837 Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models Hello,
Can I receive DRV8838 model that I can import into TINA? Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Part Number: DRV8838 Hello,
I would like to use a H bridge to drive a piezoelectric buzzer element. I was wondering if it possible to apply PWM to the PH pin of DRV8838 (like doing fast decay, maximum PWM freq 6KHz)? Does it have the appropriate logic…
Part Number: DRV8838 Hi - I am looking for a half bridge driver that can drive capacitive loads. Can the DRV8838 family drive a 10 uF load at around 100 kHz? I might also try to drive up to 50 uF using the DRV8838.
I saw someone posted about driving a…
Part Number: DRV8838 Hello,
I bought DRV8838 single channel motor driver from https://www.pololu.com/product/2990 and I've connected to arduino, My connections are like this
VIN and VCC Shorted and given to 3.3v of arduino
O1 and O2 is connected to…
Part Number: DRV8838 I’m checking the DRV8838 datasheet as the d
Product design is in progress and I can’t find any note about ESD protection on the motor outputs. Our motor is going to work at 10V but I can’t find TVS that clamps at 10V but 12V…
Part Number: DRV8838 I am developing a motor speed controller for a low noise application which means I want to avoid PWM. The application is 5V with a load of less than 1A and I need to control speed and direction.
Ideally I would like an integrated driver…
