Part Number: DRV8871-Q1 Hi,
I failed to understand where exactly I do activate the PWM
If for example, I need to 75% PWM the motor CW direction how should the IN1 and IN2 driven and to what pin of the driver the PWM wave from the MCU should be connected…
Part Number: DRV8871-Q1 Hi, team.
The data sheet has the following description, is 800 ns typo?
"The voltages applied to the inputs should have at least 800 ns of pulse width to ensure detection. Typical devices require at least 400 ns. If the PWM frequency…
Part Number: DRV8871-Q1 I have some problem in controlling EV's inlet lock actuator control with DRV8871-Q1.
The lock actuator from Phoenix. The lock actuator can be controlled external DC power supply. It is not controlled with internal power source…

Customer is looking for high temperature operating motor drive which can support up to 120deg.
I found proper device DRV8871-Q1(DRV8872-Q1) on web site, but I don't have…
Part Number: DRV8871-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8871 Hi Team,
Is there an EVM available for the DRV8871-Q1? Need one urgently if so.
If not, what do you recommend to use to showcase the device?
Thanks,
Jared
Part Number: DRV8871-Q1 Hi Team,
I am trying to understand the power dissipation of the DRV8871-Q1 in more detail. There is a statement in the datasheet that specifies switching the inputs at 200kHz compared to 20kHz causes 20% more power loss.
Is there…
Ryan,
There is nothing like the DRV8908-Q1 that can support this frequency. You would have to consider standalone drivers with external PWM like the DRV8871/72-Q1 or DRV8876-Q1.
Regards,
Ryan
In the mean, I made also measurements with 350uH,and I tested different samples.
The 350uH measurements (dI/dT = 40mA/us at 12V) confirm the "constant delay" assumption: With Vref=3.3V, the bridge trips 4.6us after IPROPI rises above 3.3V.
