Part Number: DRV8872-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8872 , Tool/software: Hi team
from the datasheet, the maximum frequency is 200Khz. customer use DRV8872, PWM frequency is 300Khz, minimum on time of output PWM is 1.57us. rising time is 118ns,…
Part Number: DRV8872 Tool/software: Hello Team,
can you please help my customer:
We use the DRV8872-Q1 to control a DC motor. It was used as a replacement because the original one from infineon went EOL. During tests I noticed something strange that I…
Part Number: DRV8872-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8243-Q1 Hi
We are using DRV8872-Q1 in our design. We are using it to control a car mirror tilt horizontal and vertical movements.
When we provide inputs from STM microcontroller to IN pins, the…
Part Number: DRV8872-Q1 Tool/software: dear team,
do we have the AEC-Q100-012 Short Circuit Reliability characterization for DRV8872DDARQ1 or any other thermal stress test?
thanks,
Federico
Hi Shinya,
So by operating at 1.25kHz @ 99% duty cycle, also increasing the current limit to max (3.6A) we are able to drive the motor with the capacitor.
Thanks for your help on this.

Part Number: DRV8872-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8872 Hi,
If the out1 of DRV8872-Q1 is used to drive a high voltage relay, is there any anti-surge protection for the DRV8872-Q1? And what character is about the anti-surge?
