Hey Jacob, thank you for your support. You have right in sleep mode is this current is about 1.8mA. In the documentation of the DRV8955 I didn't find any specification about any Rhi-z impedance. Basically, we can live with this phenomenon, its effect…
Part Number: DRV8955 hi team,
my customer want to choose DRV8955 in the digital output module.
what is the maximum frequency of PWM output? Can this chip used to output 100kHz PWM? Thanks!
Part Number: DRV8955 Hello,
My customer is looking to evaluate the DRV8955 and has a question about the power on sequence for driving two of these devices.
I read the post about connecting two drivers together and how to handle fault detection and if…
Hey Tom,
Just to clarify the current captures were taken when the opposing two inputs were off. I recommend getting our DRV8955 EVM and also performing tests with that to figure out if there is something wrong with the board and layout itself.
Best regards…
Part Number: DRV8955 Hi,
Would you please help me to review the schematic?
Please add me friend and I will pass it via privacy message.
And there have another question,
Due to we have 3.3V only when standby status(without motor ), for VREF PIN level issue…
Hi Christof,
Do you have any updates? Were you able to fix the issue? Since This thread has been open close to a month now, I will close it but you can reply if you require further assistance.
Part Number: DRV8955 Are the two PGND pins of the DRV8955 tied together internal to the device? The block diagram in the data sheet implies this, but I wanted to double-check.
The reason for this question is that there is interest in adding external current…

I need to control 2 thermoelectrics (12V 3.3A Max each) from a 12V power supply. Two Arduino pins would be used as a PID to pulse on/off a single path of an H-bridge until a temp is hit, then switches to reverse path on the H-bridge…
