Hi team
I felt confused when I read the datasheet to see what is the clamping voltage of the ESD devices.
Our application note System-Level ESD Protection Guide says "The clamping voltage …
Part Number: ESDS302 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430FR2311 Hi,
my customer is using MSP430FR2311, and find the VCC pin sometimes burn down @ voltage overshoot 3.8V, the maximum of VCC pin is 3.6V.
Is there an ESD device will solve this issue? Thanks…

Hi Matt and Clemens,
TPD1E1B04 would be a good option for the TX/RX lines as long as the voltage on these lines never reaches 6.4V during the hot swap event. Unfortunately, this is a 1 channel device, so 2 devices would be needed. If there is confirmation…
Part Number: UCC21520-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ESDS302 , UCC21550 , UCC21520 Hello team,
Have seen references which have schottky diode at the input of INA and INB pins of a gate driver. One is towards GND and one is pulled high to VCC.

Hi Josel,
For Ethernet 10BaseT1 we have ESD devices for the secondary side as shown below:
I would recommend the ESDS302 or ESDS312 .

Sebastian
Hi Abhishek,
While we don't have a part with Vrwm of 3.3 V and Vclamp of 3.6 V, we do have some parts that have a Vrwm of 3.3 V and a Vclamp of 5.5 V, such as ESDS302.
Let's say that an ESD event of 2 kV occurs on an external port of your system…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ESD122 , ESDS302 , TPD2E1B06 , TPD2E007 Hi,
I am looking for replacements that has a package larger than ESD122DMXR and TPD2E007DCKR.
These parts are too small to mass-produce.
ESD122DMXR is used for USB and LVDS.
TPD2E007DCKR…
