Part Number: FDC2214-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FDC2214 Dear TI Experts,
I am now evaluating FDC2214-Q1 for my product~
My using situation is : When my hand is close to the robot, the robot can know which direction my hand from~
I'd like to know…
Hi Jeison,
I am not aware of any touch slider device that provides a resistance change output. Our dedicated capacitive touch sensing devices all use a digital interface(I2C) for communication.

Part Number: FDC2214-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FDC2214 Hi,
I am going to use FDC2214. Are there any library or firmware for micocontroller to work with this sensor?
Thank you
Part Number: FDC2112 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FDC2212-Q1 , FDC2214-Q1 , , FDC2114-Q1 Hi everybody,
Could you please tell me what is difference between FDC2112-Q1, FDC2114-Q1, FDC2212-Q1 and FDC2214-Q1 beyond maximum output rates?
Thank you
Part Number: FDC2214-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FDC2214 Hi everybody,
I’m working with the FDC2214 and did a first few measurements. In the datasheet of the FDC2214 I saw the very helpful chapter 8.2.4 Recommended Initial Register Configuration…
Janine,
The Q1 devices are automotive qualified. You can find more details at the FDC2214-Q1 product folder. The GHR and GHT variants should be exactly the same IC. I believe the difference is only how they are distributed (quantity, tape and reel, etc…
Hi Vignesh,
We do not have any specific battery recommendations. But I will go over all the considerations that you need to think about in choosing one. First off, FDC2214 has a supply voltage range of 2.7V -3.6V. The power consumption…
Part Number: FDC2214-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: FDC2214 Hello,
I would like to confirm 3 issues:
the resolution in Farads of the chip. In máximum ratings I see a max capacity of 250nF. Is the teorical resolution then 250nF/2^28=0.93fF?
…
thank you.
When a grounded object(human) approaches the capacitive sensor, the object absorbs the sensor's electromagnetic field.
In theory, i think the mutual capacitance is reduced.
However, the capacitance measured by the FDC2214 increases when…
Part Number: FDC2114-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC2114 , FDC2114 , LDC1614 , FDC2214 , LDC1101 Hello all, I'm looking at options for a proximity sensor, and have a couple general questions:
1. TI advertises both capacitance sensors (FDC2114)…
