Part Number: BQ40Z80 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCRA0 , Hi, I’m trying to use GPCRA0 to generate gg file for bq40z80 gauge. The results have Qmax set to the actual mAh rating of the battery. With scaling factor set, I’m assuming Qmax should scale…
Hello,
If the Ra table is updating, then there should be no issue manually changing the Learned Status value from 5 to 6.

Hi Paolo, What is the absolute state of charge (ASOC)? This is how SOH is calculated. Did you use the GPCRA0 tool? This tool will update the SOH temp k and SOH temp a values which are then used for SOH calculations. I am assuming that the cell is new. Regards…

Hey Ben,
We are currently still investigating this issue. However, I would currently recommend using the GPCRA0 tool. The results from this tool is essentially a replacement for the learning cycle. https://www.ti.com/tool/GPCRA0

Hello Ancy,
Please use the GPCRA0 tool in order to get your Qmax and Ra table. We cannot debug with only the .gg file, we always need both the log and .gg file from before and after.
Sincerely,
