Hi,
I made a MOSFET driver with ISO5500 and I used two voltage sources: -15V and +15V. Now I want to modification my device and use only +15V.
I attach schema. On the blue colour is the first schema, and modification is on the red. Can I short point 18…
Hi,
the ISO5500 runs as expected until I begin to debug the microcontroller. After that the +15V and -15V are shorted. What could have happened that the ISO5500 breaks down? Schematic attached.
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN6501 , TL431 Hi
I design an inverter by using six ISO5500 to drive IGBT.
And I use a push-pull converter, which composed by SN6501 and TL431, to supply ISO5500 +15V (Vcc2, Vc) and -15V (Vee-l, Vee-p).
But, if I supply …
Hi,
I try to use ISO5500 in my thesis to control MOSFET. I have a big problem because ~FAULT pin is permament in low logic state and I have -15V in Vout pin (I use 2 voltage sources +15V and -15V).
1. I measured voltage VCC2-VE and it's 15V so it's not…
Hi Stephen,
There should be a red button that says "New Post" to the right of the page when you enter the forum. Else, could you try clicking on the link "Forum" to your left, and then you should see the "New Post" button to your right?…
Have the input connected from a optical isolated PWM signal via a MOSFET totem pole with 100 Ohm source resistors and 100pF to Gnd on the input pin of the ISO5500. When the fibre optic cable is pulled out or plugged in with the ISO5500 powered up, the…
Hi,
I am student in process of designing a inverter. I will be using the ISO5500 for a full bridge converter, however, I will be using an analog PWM instead of micro controller. If I am using the inverting configuration (PWM will be applied to VIN-), can…
