Part Number: ISOW1412 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THVD1400 , Dear Experts, I want to ask about protection of RS485 devices. We will have two RS485 communication, one for the internal bus among cards and second one for communnication with external world…
Part Number: ISOW1412 Hi team,
Customer wants to use Visoout for supply for an external opto-cupler. The datasheet shows 20mA capable. But from Electric Characterisitic, I can not find. How do we know how much current can be drawn by external load?

Part Number: ISOW1412 Hi Team.
It seems that under " Supply Current Characteristics at VISOOUT = 5 V " the information about logic supply current in different states of driver and receiver is missing. But it is specified for Visout = 3.3 V. Can you…
Part Number: ISOW1412 Hi,
On the ISOW1412 data sheet page 41 there is an PCB layout example showcasing recommended placement and routing of external components. We have noticed that the ISOW1412DFMEVM design is made in Altium, however we weren't able…
Hi KrnB,
Sorry about the delay in getting the requested information and thank you for your patience.
The capacitance of A and B pins with respect to GISOIN is 9pF. I hope this answers your question, thanks.

Part Number: ISOW1412 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISOW7741 Hello, I am using ISW1412 and want to understand the emission from VISOOUT Pin. What is Switching Freq for Isolated Power Supply ? What filter is recommended at VISOOUT Pin ?
Hi Koteshwar,
Yes, I have to add another one isolated GPIO to make it work.
Maybe one day TI can add a model with different side GPIOs in ISOW1412. ^_^
Thanks.
Part Number: ISOW1412 Hello,
My application has only 2 devices on RS485 bus (bus has no termination). But I need to power external load of 50mA worst-case.
I see that ISOW1412 only provides 20mA for external loads while it powers RS485 bus.
Though my requirement…
Part Number: ISOW1412 To whom it may concern the datasheet for the ISOW1412 describes the inclusion of a number of capacitors around the device connected to the power pins. However, these capacitors make it only possible for the part to attain noise levels…
