Part Number: ISOW7821 Hi Tier
Could you explain the reason why the load current of VISO pin in 5V to 5V/3.3V condition (130mA) is high than 3.3V to 3.3V (75mA)?
Part Number: ISOW7821 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7821 , ISO7841 Hi team,
I have a ISOW7821F to isolate some communication lines. The circuit operates with 3.3 V on either side. The integrated power supply has nearly no load on it on the isolated…
Part Number: ISOW7821 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO6721 , ISO7821 , ISO7721 Hi,
I have a query on using ISOW7821 for a sensor application. I am using a sensitive magnetometer that outputs a 5V rectangular pulse whose frequency varies between 120…
Part Number: ISOW7821 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISOW7841A-Q1 Hello,
I can see that the datasheet clearly shows 3 use cases for VCC to VISO which are
5V to 5V
5V to 3.3V
3.3V to 3.3V
Will 3.3V to 5V not work at all? Could it work for a much lower…
Part Number: ISOW7843 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISOW7821 , , ISOW7741 Hello Support team,
My customer is investigating common layout for ISOW7843 and ISOW7821. Package would be same and most pin assignment except next pins are same. Could you tell…
Part Number: ISOW7821 Hi:
1. I use ISOW7821 for 5V on the VCC and SEL pin is shorted VISO, Why the VISO output is not 5V ? I measure that VISO output is about 2.2V by multimeter, and it is about 260kHz, duty cycle 50%
square wave.
2. I use same circuit…
Part Number: ISOW7821 hi
The test input signal is normal, and it is a pull-down of about 20ms,but out signal is incorrect, below,FIG 1 is input singal,FIG2 is output singal,What could have caused it?thanks!
Hello Theo,
In order to significantly improve accuracy, I would suggest using a single channel ADC for each 4-20mA input, and isolate using digital isolators. You will then be able to get the accuracy of the ADC without additional signal chain errors…
