Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM117HV I tried out many macromodels of the venerated LM117HV regulator.....including the ones from MU...but they are limited, mostly useful for simple dc output....why will that need a "model" anyhow!
I am looking…
Hi Kami,
That is a lot of power you are trying to dissipate with an LDO. We don't have too many devices in our portfolio that can truly handle this, the ones that can are non-Q100: LM117HV and LM317HV. Unfortunately we do not have anything automotive…
Hello Fandy,
TI has the end to end solutions, but not the method to transition between. Using Webench, I can create a 12Vin to -5Vout 100 mA design.

Part Number: LM117HVQML-SP Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM117HV , Hi,
I'd like to have references regarding the flight heritage of the component in object (flight hours, missions, missions profiles etc.).
Thanks in advance,

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A4001-EP , LM117HV If the input-output voltage rating of 60V was exceeded by 200mV for up to 10usec for this device due to a transient on the input, would this be expected to cause damage? For reference, the nominal…
Hi Jim,
The LM117HV has the -55 to 150C junction temp range and 60V abs max input-to-output voltage spec. Assuming that these are your requirements, I am not aware of another linear regulator that has a tighter voltage variation across temp that will fit…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM117HVQML-SP , LM117HV Hi~
Our customer checking about LM117HVQML-SP device.
If see datasheet, it mentioned 5962# Part number.
What is different that 5962R0722901VXA, 5962R0722902VXA, 5962R0722961VXA ??
Please reply as soon…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM117 , TPS40200 , LM117HV , TL783 Hi
I need to have a regulated 5V from 48V power supply. I'm thinking of using LM117 regulator. However, the absolute maximum differential input/output voltage of LM117 is 40V only. So, is…
