  Part Number: LM140K Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM340 , UA78 I'm wanting to replace many (old part number) uA7812KC & LM340-12KC voltage regulators. Is the new LM140K-12 a drop-in replacement, or are there other circuit considerations?

  Brian, We do have the LM140K (LM140K-15/NOPB) which in in this package, but for other devices we do not have many options available today on the TO-3 metal can package. If you can consider a different package here, do you have details about the key spec…
