Part Number: LM21305 Hello team,
My customer have questions about layout. Can you please answer the below?
1. The customer would like to design like below. Can you see any concerning point in terms of switching noise?
- IC be located at Top
- SW output…
Part Number: LM21305 Hello,
I am unable to use Tantalum capacitors for the input capacitor (Cin1) (or at least is not recommended). Should I add an extra 22uF to get close to 47uF?
My 4 input caps are currently: 22uF, 22uF, 100nF, 100nF.
Thank you,

Part Number: LM21305 I have designed a power supply based on the LM21305. I haven't yet a prototype, but I have performed Orcad spice simulations using the encrypted model.
The model and project can be downloaded from here: www.ti.com/.../snvm705

Part Number: LM21305
Trying to run simulations on LM21305 and they keep failing. I also am seeing this with other parts but I didn't write down what those parts were.
thanks

Part Number: LM21305 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54620 Dear Team,
This is a general question. For my self-study I used LM21305.
My question is,
suppose this IC or any switcher is connected to a load, and in the load let us say X i/ps are switching…
Part Number: LM21305 Hi Team,
Looking at Figure 19 in LM21305 datasheet, do you know the reason why we should add that CFRQ? Do you know how LM21305 sets Fsw by FREQ pin?
By my understanding, there should be a triangle waveform whose frequency is same…

Hello,
I have integrated an LM21305 into my design. The idea is that I use a digital potentiometer to adjust the voltage into a resistive filament. The idea is as the filament…
Hello,
How does the external sync source relate to the regulator's operation when in DCM? I have an application where I am experiencing low frequency acoustic (vibration) interference that appears to be coming from the regulation circuit. I am speculating…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM21305 Hi,
I have a design with the LM21305... On two different boards, both with no load, one is in Discontinuous Mode and the second is in continuous mode (negative current in the inductor).
Is anybody have seen that…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM21305 Hello,
My customer have a question about PGND connection of LM21305.
Could you tell me why customer should connect the PAD to PGND?
Customer would like to know by technical view point.
Datasheet shows as follows…
