Part Number: LM22678 Hi support team,
I have some questions about the LM22678. Our customer is considering using LM22678.
[Questions] 1. Can LM22678 be used as an inverting converter? (For example, 12 V to -5 V output) I’m concerned that "4 Revision…
Part Number: LM22678 Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Hello All,
Greetings!!!
we need one help please confirm this IC LM22678TJ-5.0/NOPB as per our requirement suitable or not please see below specification.
because currently I have a design…
Part Number: LM22678 Dear Sir/Mam,
We are using the Part for LM22678TJE-ADJ/NOPB 5V generation. While giving the input at 12V, output voltage generated for 5V. But if iam increasing the input voltaeg from 12V to 28V means output voltage also increased…
Thanks for your reply.
But there is no heat on my board.
When the power is drop down then Ven is 2.5V > 1V drop down. (Power adaptor 12V 2A (Load is about 0.4~0.7mA))
So, i don't know. which first...
1. LM22678 down first and then Ven drop down…

Part Number: LM22678 I have designed a circuit that uses an LM22678-ADJ to output 10V. I followed the datasheet strictly when designing my circuit to ensure that every component matches the specs required and that the PCB layout is the same as the layout…
Hi Lorenzo,
I think this layout looks much better.
However i have couple of suggestion:
1. Swap position of 5V inductor and circulation diode. this will allow for much tighter ground loop between input and output
2. make sure your input power supply…
Hello Frank De Stasi
Thank you very much for your reply
we have to remove Ground FB and we have common ground all Switcher measure voltage on CRO so Flatulation is 0.170 to 0.200 mV
Thanks for your support

Josh,
The datasheet, "maximum of 2k" will give you the best results.
More detail:
Total feedback resistance of 10k strikes a good balance. Too much resistance and it's more susceptible to noise. Too little resistance and it's dissipating too much…
