Hi.
The data sheet for the LM2585-ADJ claims its rated for a maximum 12.6V output (as per page 4 of the data sheet), but the web page states that Vout (Max) (V) = 60V?, whats correct?
Also I plugged in for +/-18V output @0.25A into WEBENCH, and it actually…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2585 Hi,
Does anyone have a good document of the procedure for choosing the right compensation value for LM2585?
Thanks

Hi,
I need 24V output but my input is 12V so that i chooses LM2585S, here i am getting the internal Ref is 0.6 only.
Can any one please give me the suggestion to solve this.
Thanks in advance.
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2587 , LM2585 , LM3478 , LM3481 , LM5118 I have implemented a boost circuit like the one in Fig 45 of the LM2585 spec sheet. I am using a Li-on battery pack that supplies my circuit with 7.2VDC. I am boosting it up to +12VDC…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2585 Hi,
In one of our projects, we are using the LM2585 IC from National (now TI). The IC has a hic-cup mode of operation wherein during a short-circuit the switching frequency reduces from 100 kHz to 25 kHz to reduce…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2588 Hi All,
one of my customer collected some circuits from TI webench .They have tested the circuits for LM2585 and LM2588 . They are giving input source as 24Vac and convert into DC by bridge (IN4007 diodes) and filter…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2585 Hi,
Is it possible to use LM2585 with no load?
My configulation are as follows;
Input Voltage: 24V, Output Voltage: 48V, Load Current: 0A to 220mA
My concern is LM2585 works or not when load current down to 0A.
Thaks…
Hi Prabhakar,
Please see my following response:
1) It is possible to use the LM3488, but may I recommend using the LM51551? The LM5155x series is the next generation update of the LM34xx series, and is more suitable for your application.
2) Unfortunately…
