    Part Number: LM2598 Is it possible to use the LM2598 in an application with 5-36V in, 5V out? It mentions a max duty cycle of 100%, does that mean this mode of operation is supported?

    The soft-start for the LM2596 is fixed and not specified. We can not guarantee that it is longer than 200us However, the LM2597 or LM2598 both have adjustable soft-start; one of these may be a better choice.
