Hi
I have an nom. 5 Volt input source (4-8-5.3V) and would like to have 12V Output (0.2-0.5A).
I have calulated for this compoenents (Source Manual)
- 2.2uH Inductor (25mOhm DCR and 2.1A)
- 30V Schottkey Diode ( Vf 0.24V with I=1A and 0.28V with I=2A…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2700 I have a battery powered design that is using the LM2700 to power some 4-20mA sensors. Max output would be 80mA so the load is very small.
I have a FET switch in the power to the LM2700 to power it up when needed…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2700 In the datasheet does not say anything about the central pad LM2700 WSON. Is it possible to connect to the GND?
Hi Hamed,
What is your current requirement?
If you are looking for a non-synchronous Boost up to 2.5A with switching freq up to 1.25MHz, try LM2700 step-up converter. LM2700 is very stable and doesn't lose regulation for input voltage as low as 2.2V and…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3410 , LM2700 , TPS61500 Hello team , my customer VNL is looking for a non isolated LED driver
PLease help me as they are planing to freeze the schematic by tomorrow
PLease help me choose an appropriate part
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2700 The LM2700 data sheet shows the MT version TSSOP package has a pin spacing of .65mm which I believe is normal. However, the recommended land pattern drawing shows a pin spacing of .5mm which I believe is probably…
Jim:
The absolute maximum input voltage is 5.5V. on PTN04050C. A preregulator could be added 8V to 5V on the input bus.
The discrete recommendatio is to use LM2700-adj or TPS61175.
There are other discrete designs available under WEB bench designs.

A quick run of Webench with Iout at .2 A indicated that the LM2621/23 may not be good choices. However Webench does give a number of solutions like LM2700 that have efficiencies in the >81% range at 5 mA (with Iout initially specified at .2 A for the design…
