Part Number: LM311 Hello
I am designing comparator circuit used LM311.
I would like to confirm whether there is a problem under the following conditions.
(1) Power supply voltage to Vcc+ pin is +15V
(2) Power supply voltage to Vcc- pin is -15V…
Part Number: LM311 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM339 Dear team
We used two batches of LM311DR, but the working frequency of one batch was unstable.
The normal working frequency was 192KHZ, but it sometimes ran to 96KHZ. Attach test pictures and…

Hello,
I would like to build a bipolar window comparator with hysteresis. The input signal is a sinus waveform, 5 Hz and 8 V peak. Here is my simulation:
The simulation is not…

Part Number: LM311 Hello,
We have a question on how we should calculate the offset based on the external resistors?
In our case, we want to increase the offset on IN+, so should we assign more resistance to balance? E.g. 3k + 1.6k to balance, 3k+1…
Part Number: LM311 We had a detector come back from our customer and it had no counts. We disassembled the unit and performed a failure analysis and determined the U3 comparator was bad on the SP-609 PAD board.
Here is a summary of the analysis: …
Part Number: LM311-N Have been using Capture CIS 17.4 for a few months now and have been using components from the Cadence standard library. I've just started using Pspice for TI and I gather looking at other threads that trying to simulate a circuit…
Hello Nattapong,
Yes. The input voltage are referred to "GND" (midpoint of the supplies) in the tables.
The LM311 is specified with +15 and -15V "split" supplies, both positive and negative. Though it is possible to use it with a single supply.
