Part Number: LM3150-500EVAL Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3150 Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Hello!
It's some days I'm debugging my prototype: Buck converter based on LM3150, Ti Workbench calculated: Vin 22-26Vdc, Vout 5V 12A
The PCB designer…
Part Number: LM3150 Because of the high calorific value when debugging LM3150, it is hoped to provide the PCB source file of the next LM3150-500EVAL/NOPB. Thank you very much.
Hi,
Do you have layout for your design? It could be that it needs more heatsinking area on M1 or there is sensitive nodes that need to be taken care of. Such as placing all the CIN closer to the FETs.
EVM userguide is normally a good start to check…
Some comments on the board layout. The input capacitor placement is critical for the Buck topology. The connection between the input capacitor and the Power FETs (VIN and GND) should be as short as possible. This is a switching current loop and this loop…
