Part Number: LM324A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV4170
Disclaimer: my electronics knowledge is limited.
Goal 1:
See attached figure. I want to measure the voltage drop at various locations (voltage taps) along a DC power cable. The cable has a…
The -A version has better electrical characteristics (lower offset, lower bias/offset current); compare sections 6.5 and 6.6 of the datasheet.
The LM324-N was acquired from National Semiconductor. TI's LM324/LM324A is the same, but cheaper.
The newer…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM324A Hi,
I am doing some calculations with the LM324A OpAMP and was wondering if you could provide me with some additional info, mainly, what is the maximum voltage drop for "High-level output voltage (VOH)" at different…
Part Number: LM258A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS321 , , LM324A , LM258 Dear sir,
Customer wants to check whether there are ESD cell protection from Positive input (IN+) / Negative Input (IN-) to the power supply (V+/V-) inside?
AMP list:
LM258ADG…
Hey Jerry,
Thanks for the quick response.
The LV part looks nice, had missed it in my search, so thanks, but the low swing spec is still 75mV worst case so we still loose 0-75mV i.e. 5% of the ADC range and that is still 3.5x the 20mV specified for the…
Part Number: LMV641 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM324A Hi Sir,
My customer using op amp as integrator for gain & adding bias to analog signal (please see the illustration below), Op Amp V+ = 3.3V, V- = 0V
The usage is that want to shift audio…
Hi Gary, I recommend taking a look at the LM324A for better offset specifications. If you do not need the high supply voltage range the LM324A offers, I recommend taking a look at the LMV324A or the LM324LV. Thank you, Tim Claycomb
Devin,
Once again thank you for your help.
I was able to eliminate the clipping by configuring the LM324A in dual-supply configuration as shown below.
The DAC output was not set to above 300mV. The datasheet states the DAC output is linear between 0.3V…
Part Number: LM324 For all of these opamps, on the datasheets I see "Output Current" and a value is given for Min and Typ (but not Max). (Page 6 of the LM324/LM324A/LM324K/etc. datasheet, for example)
Am I to assume these really require a minimum…
