Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3444 Hello All,
I am trying to determine whether the LM3444 is suitable for driving a single LED (Vf about 3.4V) at about 5 amps. The efficiency will probably be low and that may be a factor for heat dissipation. Guess…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3444 , LM3466 Hi,
I need review on my schematic. Please help me on this.
Here one schematic. There are two sections. Circuit-1 is taken from your application note snvu114a. I wanted to increase LED capacity to double.…
Part Number: TPS92511 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3445 , LM3444 , LM3414HV Hi E2E,
Good day!
Can we set the LED current of this part lower than 150mA, specifically 40mA?
Best regards,
Franz
Hello Kazuya,
I would look at the LM3444 or LM3445 for a simple buck driver. There are some other parts, some supported by other groups such as the UCC28810/28811, or the TPS92075.
Best Regards,
Part Number: LM3445 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3447 , TPS92075 , LM3444 Team,
Do we have any design aids for LM3445 buck-boost configuration?
There is nothing on the TI web design program. I can’t select any Vin AC voltages less than 110VAC for any…
Hello Cristian,
From your information I get four operating points, 10P/10S at 11W Vled = 28V is 393 mA, 8P/14S at 11W Vled = 39.2V is 281 mA, 15P/15S at 25W Vled = 42V is 595 mA, 16P/16S at 25W Vled = 44.8V is 558 mA.
If you can use a valley fill for…
Hello Julian,
Running the LM3409HV at 75 volts input is possible but I would not recommend it. The ABS MAX on Vin is 76V, there's no margin for the design. The TPS92640/641 can run to 85V input giving some margin. You can also look at the LM3444/45…
Hello,
We won't have anything pin for pin compatible however you could look at the LM3444/LM3445. It is a fairly simple part to use but will require something to generate VCC as can be seen in the datasheet and EVMs.
Best Regards,
Hello Michael,
LM3444 and LM3445 can be dimmed without a triac by adjusting the FILTER pin. Note that LM3444 and LM3445 regulate peak current so it will become non-linear dimming when it goes discontinuous. A lot of our led drivers are for lower power…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3445 , TL494 , LM3444 Hi sir,
I am looking for a suitable LED driver, my design requirements is followed:
input: DC 36-100v
output: 300watts. It could be 30v@10A; or 48v@6.25A, or 30V/2A with 5 channels; or 48V/1.25A with…
