Hello,
I can try and help you figure this out. How are you using the LM3450, as a power factor controller from rectified AC? What are you doing with the dimming pins on the part? I see some of the history of this post, is this still relevant? Are…
Hi John,
We've developed additional schematic for CV LED driver, it's work good ( we still testing on 30W board).
The problem is that it dims down to 15-20% of the max. light and customers want much lower as 1-2%. How can I extend the dimming…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3450 , LM3409 At start up there is a half second delay before FLT1, FLT2 and DIM pins are active. Is there a way to speed up the turn on of these pins?
I build up a voltage converter with 54Voutput voltage, everything works in principle.
One problem: after powering up (230V Ac on) I saw a quite fast turn on (20ms) to about 45 V at the output, but then it takes about 2 seconds to reach final 54 V. This…
Hello Irwin,
I did not look into input voltage and output of LM3450 which I will do so, soon.
The power range is 350mA*5*3V=5.25W and there is no dimming TRIAC/DC/PWM. I directly connect the input to the wall AC source with no dimmer.
Thank you,
Ali
Part Number: LM3450AEV230V30 Hello, We've been reading through the user guide , and we're trying to verify where the value, IP-PK-LIM = 1.65A, is from. Can you please help? It's on page 23, section 9.1:

(1) What type of dimmer will be supported on this…
Hello Miguel,
You cannot get rid of Qps since that is how the LM3450 is powered up at first turn on. Rhld and Chld aren't needed and you can also disable the input current measuring as well.
