Part Number: LM3481 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP10098 HI
I have a wide input design requirement, want to reference as PMP10098 DEMO board,
I have a question about power start-up, attach file is SCH
If input=19V,Q3 could not work, How the energy…
Hi Pieter,
Thank you for reaching out. Webench put a 300V limit due to its library components limitations. Theoretically there is no max Vout limit except the boost duty cycle limit.
There are several 300Vout ref designs, which was also mentioned in the…
Part Number: LM3481 Hi Ti Support
Same as Paul,
i'm looking for transformer spec designed on TI ref design http://www.ti.com/tool/PMP20981 .
based on the BOM, part# PA4191NL (Pulse Engineering) => not found on the web nor Pulse website
I have put…
Hi Darren,
Thank you for reaching out and considering our products. I would like to recommend the LM5155, our latest boost/flyback controller superior to the LM3478.
Anyway, both LM5155 and the LM3478 can support your applications.
For such high step…

Hi Ilya,
Actually we have a ref design to produce 300V from a low voltage source, just using a different device the LM3481. You can find the info at the following link:
www.ti.com/.../PMP20212
Thanks,
Youhao
The Ref Design is a DCM circuit and the duty cycle should be adequate to support 5V in. You may consider to reduce the current sense resistor if it hits the peak current limit of the LM3481.

hello,
I am using LM3481 to build an ultra-wide flyback converter.
My question is about how to shutdown PWM switching immediately.
Initially I would like to use FA/SYNC/SD pin 6 of the LM3481 to shut down PWM IC if my fault detection…
Part Number: LM3481 Hi Sir,
I've saw the datasheet of LM3481. I have a question about the peak current control.
The diagram shows that the peak current control signal comes from the output of EA which compares FB voltage and 1.275V ref.
But in the…
