Part Number: LM5005 When using the LM5005 in inverted operation (i.e. creating a negative output voltage), what should the exposed pad on the back of the device be connected to? Is it supposed to still connected to Agnd & Pgnd (which are now not "Ground…
Hi Shenker:
1. the resistor of RC snubber is for cosume the Csnubber votlage when the diode conducut. so the power dissiapation will be around from 0.5*C*Vin^2*fsw-C*Vin^2*fsw
2. the minium load if for keep the inductor in the continue conduct mode…
Part Number: LM5005 We want to use this part in a product with 10 years of lifetime. Can we order this part during the coming 10 years?
Can you say if this part is a running wel / has enough customers?

Part Number: LM5005 Hi,
I am using LM5005 for my power supply.
Input: 12V to 60V DC
Out Put: 10.5V DC @2.5A
My problem is, I am not getting load current. Out put current is very low. only one LED is ON.
How to set max 2.5A Load current.…
Part Number: LM5005 Industrial application. Feed with 48VDC from switching power supply (90 to 240VAC in), 12v output 0.9A, about 300KHZ. Free-wheeling diode rated 60V at 2A. Circuit output feeds two regulators of 3.3V and 5V. When the circuit fails usually…
Part Number: LM5005 Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Hey there,
I guess there is an error in the schematic shown in the webbench (pic below). According to the datasheet, Ccomp2 should be connected after Rcomp. Furthermore it is stated, that PRE…
Hi Augusto,
You may be picking up some high-frequency noise on COMP, particularly if the inductor is unshielded. Try placing a pole at half switching frequency with a small cap from COMP to FB.
Also, it appears the ref des in the layout do not match…
