Because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., TI E2E™ design support forum responses may be delayed from November 25 through December 2. Thank you for your patience.
Part Number: LM5069QUICK-CALC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5069 Dear team,
I'm using the LM5069 Design Calculator with FET Recommendation for SOA calculation
However Some of the green cells in the calculator is invalid.
1. can't set the load…
Part Number: LM5069QUICK-CALC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5069 Hi,
We are using LM5069-2 IC for hot swap application, below are the specs:
- Vin = 24V +/-10% tolerance
- Current Limit : 10A,
- Max load Capacitance : 2200uF
- Ta : 60C
- Power limit…
Part Number: LM5069QUICK-CALC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5069 Hi Expert,
The customer is considering the LM5069 for below conditions.
Two input sources to support the output capacitance (3000uF) and loading is 3KW.
The input range is 36V~72V.
Condition…
Part Number: LM5069QUICK-CALC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5069 Dear TI support team,
for a high-power design, we use 2x parallel FETs on the LM5069 to transport the load current. Output capacitance is >2mF, so a dV/dt soft start becomes necessary…
Part Number: LM5069QUICK-CALC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5069 Can you explain the "IFET - ILOAD margin" parameter on the LM5069 Design Calculator Rev C ?
How is defined IFET ?
Thank you.
Part Number: LM5069QUICK-CALC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5060 Hi.
I downloaded the above file. As a result of opening, the contents are not shown as follows.
The LM5060 related files work very well.
Help.
Hi Nathan,
Can you please share more details about the application and end product. Why the current level is so high ?
Nathan Langford said: Thank you for the quick response. Does this mean that there will be a period of time where the current is not regulated…
Eli,
The design as is will not support down to 9V input. This is due to how the UVLO is configured on the LM5069. There are a few methods you can use to alter the design to support a lower input voltage however.
1. Since 9V is the limit for the device…
Hi Kenneth,
I will check about TPS1663 and TPS1653 and let you know by today.
Meanwhile, please fill out the design calculators to start with the hot swap design.
