Hi Garrett,
The attached design is for "LM5118 Cold Crank" with 5V@3A output, not for LM5118EVAL "12V @3A". Could you help to double check with design engineer? Thank you and take care.
Part Number: LM5118EVAL Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5118 Greetings!
We have procured LM5118EVAL/NOPB. It is designed to provide an output of 12V with 3A. We require an output of 7.4V . Since LM5118 is capable of this, is it possible to achieve this…
Part Number: LM5118EVAL Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5118 Team,
Please help address my customer's questions:
I want to modify the parameters on the LM5118EVAL board. I am not sure the TI experts will have any concerns:
At EN pin, I will put…
Part Number: LM5118EVAL Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5118 Hello All,
I bought the LM5118 evaluation board and now I am trying to get a (12 V at 1 A) output.
I connected a resistor load at the output and apply the voltage from 5 to 15V to the input…
Part Number: LM5118EVAL Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5118 , , TEST Tool/software: Webench Hello,
for an application with Vin from 8 to 75 VDC I have developed an identical circuit board to the all'evalution board LM5118EVAL. The maximum current in…
Hi Kazuya,
Thank you for reaching out. Do you mean the modification on our LM5158EVAL board ( https://www.ti.com/tool/LM5118EVAL )? If yes, then more components in addition to the feedback network needs to be changed, because:
All output capcitors C9-C14…
Hi Sir,
The customer would to design this DC-power device on the industrial and automotive products, the MP schedule is Y2023.
If the 10A is really high for diodes on 2-switch design, may I recommend the customer to use the 4-switch design same as the…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5118 Hi there,
i'm seriously interessted in the Evaluation Board AN-1819 LM5118. I got some questions about this module. What i need is a buck/boost-converter which provides a output of 10 A. Is it possible to modificate…
Hi Michelle,
It will be hard to get the any switch mode power supply to work on a bread board due to parasitic components. If you would like to test on an PCB I suggest using the LM5118 evaluation module. See the link below.

Please could you update on this. We are waiting the solution and hold our design for development of this power supply.
Let us know how we could proceed further on this. We know there are 12V EVM board available for this. IS this 12V EMV tested for line…
