Part Number: LM5158 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PSPICE-FOR-TI , , TINA-TI Hello guys,
One of my customers is considering using LM5158 for their new products.
At this moment, they have the following questions. Could you please give me your reply?
Q1…
Part Number: LM5123-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5155 , LM5156 , LM5158 , LM5157 Hi TIer
Please recommend an alternative to the LT3758 .
LM5123 seems only have boost function.
But LT3758 can do SPEIC , CUK circuit.
Could you give me some suggestion…
Part Number: TPS55332-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5158 , LM5157 Tool/software: Hi,I want to use the TPS55332 in a new design and to do so, I'm trying to understand the example implementation in the section 8.2.1 (datasheet) and I can't understand…
Part Number: LM51571-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5158 , LM5157 Hi,
While using LM5157 and LM5158 Quickstart Calculator for SEPIC Regulator Design tool, what does the recommended inductance (LM_calc) signifies? Is this the inductance of the coupled…
Part Number: LM51581-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM51581 , LM5158 Tool/software: I am designing a boost converter with the LM51518-Q1 and have worked through the design process using Webench and the Excel tool, and simulation to define values and…
Part Number: LM51571-Q1 Hi,
Can I get the internal MOSFET parameters of lm51571 and the equations used in the
LM5157 and LM5158 Quickstart Calculator for SEPIC Regulator Design.
Part Number: LM51581-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5158 Hi I'm working for one project which includes this flyback converter the model which is available is not working and it is encrypted. So can you please provide me with any alternative spice…
Part Number: LM51581-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5158 Hi.
We need to simulate the boost converter application using LM51581-Q1 and I could only find the encrypted PSPICE transient model of the same in TI's website. It's an immediate requirement…
Hi Naveen,
I agree with Erics suggestions of the LM5157/LM5158 series. If a synchronous approach is preferred, we also have LM5123 as high efficiency boost controller. But due to external FETs, this approach has higher costs.
Regarding unencrypted PSpice…
Hello Marvin,
Thanks for reaching out. What topology does the customer want to use (boost, SEPIC, Flyback)? The switch node rating for this device is 50 V abs max and should not be violated. In this case the LM5158-Q1 might be a better fit as the switch…
