Part Number: LM5160A Hi,
I'm doing a mockup test using LM5160A & noticed that all output will hiccup when 26V output loads more than 0.19A & I'm suspecting the current limit at this moment.
Based on my use case, I entered all the numbers…

below is the SCH for the buck circuit design using LM5160A, input voltage is from 40V to 60V, the problem is: the inductor temperature is very high even when the load is…
Part Number: LM5160A Hello Guys,
Good day,
Kindly help to clarify if the equation1 on page 12 of the datasheet is correct. Is not Fsw determined by Vin and not Vout?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Aaron,
I just read the datasheets of both TPS54308 and LM36520, and yes they both give the sink current spec. As long as your design does not exceed negative ~1.7A limit then you can use them in fly-buck.
I mentioned LM5160A because it supports your…
Hi Matt,
Thank you for reaching out.
Regarding the 40% ripple current, it is not device related but an empirical consensus that the overall design would be optimized with such ripple current.
Please consider the LM5160 or LM5160A should be able to support…
Part Number: LM5160A hi,
i want to sinulate lm5160A on tina ti by using 749196241 transformer of wurth. this transformer have not a model for tina and i trying to configure "nonlinear transformer", but dont know how, someone can help me with that?…

Part Number: LM5160A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5160 Hello guys,
One of my customers is considering using LM5160A for their new products.
The customer worries about the device maximum output current. They want to know whether the device can supply…
Part Number: LM5160A Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Hi,
I have designed isolated power supply (+15V and -8V outputs) using LM5160A shown below, the primary output at terminal 3 of the transformer is 7.5V. The FPWM pin is connected to Vcc to get…
