Hi Tony,
You are right.

I believe it is possible to have 3 EVMs in parallel.
Follow Figure 8-23. Six Phases 120° Interleaving Configuration in the datasheet and …
Part Number: LM5170-Q1 Hello Expert,
We have some issue on the Soft Start pin.
* Error symptoms
1'st : EN1,2 Signal is High.
2'nd : SS Signal is High-Low-High repetition under 1V (SS pin: does not rise above 1V and operates in a triangular wave form…
Part Number: LM5170-Q1 We've experienced this LM5170-Q1 IC failure in Buck mode and we don't know why. It seems related to rail voltage supplied to this IC as it's partially damaged. Resistance between Vcc to GND is only a few hundred ohms after this…
Part Number: LM5170EVM-BIDIR Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5170-Q1 Hello
1. I am using EVM board for my application using as a boost mode 24/48 V, I have given a supply of 24 Volts and 2 A current in the begining with a load of 7 ohm, But there were…
Part Number: LM5170 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA228 , INA229 I'm using the LM5170 IC for my project, and following the datasheet, the current sense resistor is placed on the low-side.
- I'd like to know if it is possible to place it on the…

Hi Santosh,
You may start from the LM5170EVM-BIDIR with following changes:
3. Remove D3
4. Adjust R78 to set the output voltage
5.Change R18 to set OVPB threshold higher than 42V.
6. Follow below jumper settings for BUCK mode CV output.
Best Regards…
Part Number: LM5170EVM-BIDIR Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5170 Hello
I have some confusions in connecting two EVM's for three phase Boost confuguraiton.
1. For the second board, do I also need the same jumpers setting?
2. If for example for testing…
Part Number: LM5170EVM-BIDIR Hello
I have a query related to power supply at 3.3V, If I did not install resistor R4 and I need to start the board through power supply at 3.3V, How much current setting should I need for a board at this pin?
Thanks
Part Number: LM5170 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP21867 , Hi Team,
Customer want to use LM5170 to achieve -48V input & 12V output. I think LM5170 can be used without problem and have verified by PMP21867.
But in customer system, the input GND…
