Part Number: LM74502H I'm experiencing inconsistent behaviour with a LM74502H configured as an input surge stopper, with UVLO.
The UVLO/EN pin is connected through a resistor divider to operate falling/rising at 1.14v/1.24v(nom) respectively. The…

Hi,
Regarding the LM74502H-Q1 device and this schematic;
1) Is this device suitable for automative oil/water pump application? 150W motor, 12V Battery, 13A rated with 40-50A peaks…
Part Number: LM74502 We're building a 200A 50V switch for a battery system with inverter. See enclosed schematic.
Can a LM74502 have sufficient drive to run these FETs in parallel, or do I need the LM74052H?
DO I need any capacitors in the SRC or…
Hi Lanxi Li,
The Gate driver of LM74502-Q1 is internally connected to VCAP by a PMOS internally when the gate driver is enabled. The PMOS resistance is very low in case of LM74502H-Q1 and hence has higher gate drive strength. So, you can expect the ripple…
Hi,
Yes it is repeatable, just increase the input voltage until the LM74502H goes into OVP (37 V) and then reduce the input voltage to 33 V. This will start the oscillation shown on the waveforms. The load was 100 Ohm in this case.
LM74502H VIN2 33V.…
Hi Shiven,
Thank you. In the meantime, I've found LM74502H-Q1 which seems more suitable for my needs. Bi-directional current flow, smaller and less expensive :)
Part Number: LM74502 Tool/software: Hi TI Team,
The LM74502, LM74502H SNOSDE5A datasheet revision A mentions the LM74502 has a low current Gate drive for inrush current control and the LM74502H is suitable for applications which need Fast turn-on and…
Part Number: LM74502 Tool/software: Hi TI Team,
The LM74502, LM74502H SNOSDE5A datasheet revision A Section 9.3.3 suggests "An additional zener diode from GATE to SRC can be needed to protect the external FET in case output is expected to drop to the level…
