Part Number: LMG1020 Tool/software: Dear Friends,
I am searching for a "Low side GaN FET Driver" for space applications.
Currently, I am using an LMG1020 for the ToF LASER driver in an industrial device.
I am seeking a space-grade device with…
Part Number: LMG1020 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI , Tool/software: Hi all,
I would like to know the reason the SW frequency is limited to a Max 60Mhz.
I simulated with Tina-TI assuming that a 250 pF gate capacitance FET was driven.
Since…
Part Number: LMG1020 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ALLIGATOR Tool/software: Hi TI-Team,
I have a question regarding the rise time Tr of the LMG1020 GaN driver. My setup: LMG1020 directly connected to an EPC2019 without any gate resistors in between…
Hi li,
As it's been over a month without a response, I will assume that the problem is now solved, and I will be closing this thread. If you have any more questions, please feel free to respond to reopen the thread.
Thanks, Rubas
Part Number: LMG1020 Hi,
What does the Up to 60 MHz Operation depend on?
What is the limiting factor for this operating parameter? And do you offer similar part that can operate higher than 100MHz?
Part Number: LMG1020 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI Hi
I simulated LMG1020 and EPC2019 using TINA-TI.
Could you please let me know where i can download the IBIS model of LMG1020 and EPC2019 for simulation in PCB Layout.
Thank you,
Lee jumso…
Part Number: LMG1020 In the LMG1020 gate driver ic figure there is an AND gate present, but in the application note of LMG1020 NAND gate is present in the gate driver figure. According to both figures which one is correct or is there any difference between…
Hi Ritesh,
thanks for your answer. I have another question about LMG1020.
I see your schematic of LMG1020 evaluation board. There are GND and PGND in schematic. Do GND and PGND need to be joined together by a resistor or a ferrite bead?
Thanks.
Part Number: LMG1020 Hi,
In LMG1020 datasheet, it specifies for low-side fet for synchronous buck, it is ok to use for high side, with isolated power supply?

Part Number: LMG1020 Hi, TI expert
I use LMG1020 TINA-TI Reference Design to simulate. The VG1 is step signal. The result is show as in fig below. When it starts, there is a pulse at the output of LMG1020(Vsw), and a glitch at the drain of GaN FET. What…
