RE: EVM for either LMV1012 or LMV1032?
Hi Paul, Since the idea behind the
LMV1012
is to replace the JFET already inside the ECM (Electret Condenser Microphone), and the challenges of keeping the device as close to the microphone as possible, it is assumed that the ECM itself will be used...

RE: 2-Wire Hydrophone Amplifier
Joe, The
LMV1012
is intended to be used with electret microphone capsules. Is this the type of transducer you are using? (Most of the hydrophones I have heard about have been low impedance moving-coil devices.) What is the signal bandwidth required...

RE: Noise on TLV1012
Hi, Nambirajan, Actually, I think your question is not super specific to the
LMV1012
. Basically, those caps provide traps for the frequency causing the interference. You should be able to calculate the cap value that will cause a trap for the offending...

RE: Amplifying an Audio Signal
Hi Ramin, Keep the supply to the microphone as clean as possible. The basic FET circuit does not have much PSRR. So pre-filter the supply line - especially if the power is derived from a switching supply. If you are curious, most likely the microphone...
