How about LP2950-N/LP2951-N, it has a "Output Programmable From 1.24 V to 29 V", the typical dropout voltage is 380mV @100mA, so I guess you may get a 1.0V output voltage with 1.5V Vin. Below is the Dropout Curve just FYR.
