Part Number: LP2954 Hi,
Let me know how to connect unused pins.
Our customer is planning to keep unused pins open.
Is this a problem?

Hi Team, My customer considers to use LP2954IM (SOIC package). The datasheet shows shutdown current is almost the same as supply current (IL=1mA). Is it typo? - shutdown current - supply current (IL=1mA) I believe shutdown current is less…
The function of LP2954AIMX (SOIC8) and LP2952 (SOIC16) seems to be very similar. The LP2952 implements a crowbar function to pull down the output quickly when shutdown is activated. Is this also true for the LP2954AIMX?
This is similar to the Vout overshoot discussion in the LP2951-N datasheet.
What is happening that with a Vin that is rising faster than Vout can keep up, the LP2954 feed-back loop goes into saturation trying to force the PNP pass element to deliver more…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP2954 There is no pinout in the TI datasheet for the LP2954 (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/snvs096c/snvs096c.pdf). I had to find an old National datasheet to get the pinout for the 8-pin SOIC device. Is TI planning to update…
Part Number: LP2953QML-SP Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP2954 Hi Folks
There are some applications where this device is still the best fit, especially those requiring low quiescent current.
The lack of a Spice model (or evaluation board) makes it difficult…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP2954 The datasheet of LP2954 indicate that the RTHja is 44.3°C/W but I don't the size of the copper pad. Can somebody tell me the recommended footprint and the value of RTHja associated.
Thanks.

I have some questions about the output Isolation feature et some charateristics of the LP2954 :
- Is the output stage a bipolar transistor as…
Part Number: LM2941 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP2954 , , TPS7A47 Hello
I need to drop my 24V input voltage to 24V - 0V5 - Vdo, i.e. ideally around 23V, to mitigate line voltage droops due to varying loads, and provide a necessarily stable output…
