I am using LP2985 to regulate 5V to 5V and seeing a nominal current draw of 30mA from the regulator. Is this typical? If I replace Cbias with a 10kohm resistor the current drops to 7mA.

Part Number: LP2985 Tool/software: I have used the LP2985 for about 20 years. My products require low noise voltage at 1, 10 , 100, Hz. I found that using Cnr = 1 uF improves the noise voltage considerably at at frequencies < 200 Hz.
