    Part Number: LP2988 Hi E2E, Good day! A customer of mine is looking to use LP2988AIM-5.0/NOPB to replace LP2987AIMX-5.0/NOPB. As the pin 1 has no connection on their current design, is it OK to use LP2988 and leave its pin 1 floating? Best regards…

  • RE: Difference in die between the LP2988 and LP2987?

    Same die. Difference is no bond wire to Pin 1 (N/C) on the LP2987, vs a bond wire from the Vref circuitry to Pin 1 (BYPASS) on the LP2988.
