Part Number: LP8557 Hi Team,
Our customer wants to check if we can connect LP8557's multi-channel output in parallel as below to drive higher current LEDs, can you help to check if it works for our device?
Thanks a lot!
Part Number: LP8557 Team,
Can the LED outputs be connected in parallel?
The max current through a single channel is 25 mA. Our LCD backlight requires 40mA. My thought is if the LED string was fed into channel 1 and 2, then there would be 50mA. Then…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8557 , LP8555 Hi Sir,
There is only one I2C interface on the system, but I need control more than 10 channel LED.
May I connect 2 or 3 LP8557's I2C interface in serial? Does LP85571's I2C address could be changed…
Part Number: LP8557 Hello,
I have two question regarding the LP8557 PWM only version:
1. From my understanding, SHUTDOWN mode is when there is no voltage applied to VDD and STANDBY mode occurs when the PWM pin is low after 52ms.
When VDD voltage…
Part Number: LP8555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8557 , The Configuration of the Device we are designing contain 4 separate LED Drivers (LP8555*3, LP8557*1 all from TI). We need to Control all 4 LED Drivers from the same Control Chip through I2C…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8557 Hi.
My customer use Driver to regulate LP8557.
The driver code has {0x16, 0x60}.
What's the function of address 0x16 setting? Datasheet doesn't mention that register.
Thanks
Daniel
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8557 Hi,
If use LP8557, how to connect the CABC trace from panel ?
If use LP8557I, how to connect the CABC trace from panel ?
Thanks
Masa,
On LP8557 (non-I version), FSET pin is used to set the boost switching frequency and PWM dimming frequency. Please refer to the device datasheet for more info.
